Company Dance Experience

Why dance?

Be part of a community with global presence, anywhere you go, you will find someone who share our passion.

Make friends, share experiences, improve confidence and increase non-verbal communication skills.

It's fun and healthy. Stay in good shape, rewire neural circuitry in the brain and enhance muscular awareness.

Bailalo has not only taught me how to dance. Bailalo has also taught me about Latin culture, music, and dance etiquette. In this bright studio space surrounded by mirrors, I could really focus on getting the details of every movement and steps. Bailalo has a fantastic Monthly Pass system. Other than the regular dance lessons, the Self-improvement classes such as Spinning Class, Body Movement Class and even Yoga Class really helped me on becoming a well-rounded dancer with solid foundations. Not to mention there is a weekly free practice session “Practica” and monthly studio party. Even more, Bailalo would invite international artists and dancers to Taiwan from time to time to keep us up with the world trend. Dance has made my life full of passion and joy.
Jerry, Salsa Level 3
Jerry & AiLin
I had the most wonderful two years in Taiwan largely thanks to my second family – Bailalo! Not only did I learn a ton of things about how to use my body for dancing and in every day life, what the hell a frame is and how to find it, how to use my core and how to connect well with a partner.
Much more importantly, I felt at home at this incredible school with the most passionate, inspiring teachers and the warmest class mates one could imagine. I was also able to practice my Chinese after printing this T shirt to remind my friends I was serious about it. All in all, if you wanna make dance your life, just have fun once a week, make friends, learn about your body and mind or practice your Chinese – in either case, Bailalo is the place to be!
Vicky, Bachata & Salsa Level 4
It’s easy to let the simplicity of the physical space fool you, but there is a powerful social field at work between these unassuming walls. Bailalo is a place of multifaceted growth and learning that has impacted every area of my life. It has:
– Reconnected me to my body, developing my balance and coordination,
– Stimulated my intellect with concepts from kinesiology and music theory,
– Deepened my appreciation for the experience and culture of Afro-Latin peoples, and
– Built habits of mindfulness and presence, reminding me to live selflessly in connection with the music, my dance partners, and the community. There is no other group of teachers I’d trust more to guide me on this journey, nor group of classmates I’d rather share it with. My advice? Come. Surprise yourself.
